Horse and Rider of the Month

  "Terry and Joanne."

Hope all is well. Just wanted to say hello. May possibly All is well with River (Stix) and Mae. She is growing like a weed, sweet and beautiful and he is just awesome. He is so sweet and follows me around like a puppy wherever I go. When I have him away on rides, he is a perfect gentleman. He continues to rule the roost- Keeps to himself and has his mare ( Dash's mom) and Mae are always at his side; all 3 generally sleep together in 1 large stall in the run in barn. He keeps them close and if another enters "his" protected zone , he does not hesitate to give chase but never kicks or bites just moves them away. He continues to impress me every time I ride. He is sure footed, smart and very well mannered. We have been on a few large group rides now; many people come up to ask what kind of horse is he and compliment me on him over and over. I give all the credit to Fun E Farm and the breed. We just won 2nd out of 127 riders on a combo paper chase and trailride on the Eastern Shore of Va. We rode 28 miles day 1 and 20 day 2; about 5 miles in and out of water on the shores of the Chesapeake, he was great the whole time. Not too fond of water but is getting better. We missed first place to a mounted horse/rider from North Carolina-. I have a great photo that I will bring for you. You said to me that he may be small but he makes up for it in his skill and presence and I cannot agree more.

Please tell Chelsea we said hello.
